NO WRONG DOOR

Designs of Integrated, Client Centered Service Plans for Persons and Families with Multiple Needs

This report presents in this paper, the characteristics of client groups that might benefit from the Department of Social and Health Service's "No Wrong Door" initiative – Case Coordination Project – are identified, including the use of multiple services by persons with multiple disabilities; troubled children, youth, and their families, and long-term TANF families. Key elements of No Wrong Door models are identified, constraints, and opportunities to improve service delivery through various No Wrong Door approaches are examined. The models were subsequently presented to the DSHS Cabinet in July 2001 for approval, so startup projects could begin by January 2002.
